Lucifer and the Lost Soul
Give up thy soul and come to me,
I shall set your secretes free,
And take away all thy pain.
Think of all that you could gain.
My heart desires one thing alone.
For every sin I shall atone,
If you could grant it without disaster
Eternally I shall call thee Master
What is it that you do seek?
Perhaps it's that you're shy, and meek,
And wish to join the eminence,
Then I shall grant thee confidence
I do not need mere confidence.
I can't attain that magnificence.
Nor do I wish for such poise,
Or sell my soul like meager toys.
Perhaps it's that you wish to be
Like the swan refined and free.
That is simple enough to be,
